Hiking near Ljubljana: a different trail up Smarna Gora.

In this video I take you up an alternative hiking trail to the summit of Smarna Gora, a popular hiking spot near Ljubljana. While most people take the trail that starts from Tacen, this one gets very crowded and goes through thick forest and has less views. The trail I follow here starts from a car park near Spodnje Pirniče, and takes you through more open forest with stunning views across to the Kamnik Alps most of the way. At the start of this trail I also discover a great photography composition. Ljubljana is the capital city of Slovenia, and this is just one of many great places to go hiking or trekking nearby.
