Tollywood Short Movies Presents #DHEU (ঢেউ) film starring by #RudranilGhosh, #AnanyaChatterjee and others. DHEU (ঢেউ) (The Timeless) Synopsis A young man of 26 named Ayan is ill and dying. He has cancer and doctors have said that the most optimistic estimate is six months survival. This man has started hallucinating about depressing scenes like funeral processions. One morning he feels that he cannot wait for death like that and it is better to end his life then and there. He attempts suicide but at the prime moment Annesha, his girl friend arrives and saves him. What follows is a pensive dialogue between the two interspersed with flash backs where Annesha tries to get him out of his terrible depression. Annesha wants Ayan to give her some quality time or more aptly some good memories for reminiscence and not brood over the inevitable. Annesha argues that it is the memory of these days she will have to bank on for the rest of her life. Ayan is a young writer and Annesha urges him to create more and more in the time he has. Annesha argues that human beings are all mortal but the creations remain. As has remained the Acropolis, the Colosseum or the Pyramids totally defying the ruling of time. Gradually Ayan comes out of his depression. They know each other since childhood and they come to the very field where they had first met as kids. Here the film makes a cinematic statement that nothing is lost with a particular person, everybody is a part of a colourful matrix called flow of life and the matrix essentially remains continuous.
