I picked up a black MacBook for $15 but ended up spending $100 on it to get it up and running, dual booting both OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and Mint Linux. It's the only black laptop Apple has produced in a very long time, unless you're willing to call Space Black, black.   / dmug   This particular MacBook is Core 2 Duo variant, also known as a late 2006 MacBook or a MacBook 2,1. To fix this up, I've ordered 4 GB of RAM off eBay, an SSD, and a battery. This is probably too much money for a computer this old, as I ended up paying around $100 for the computer and to get it operational, and I don't exactly make big YouTube to justify such silly things.
