This is the story of wizards, hobbits, elves, trolls; enchanted forests, and treacherous mountain quests. A story of friendship; of personal struggle; of not knowing where you’re going—apprehending what lies beyond the bounds of the lush fields of your village, but pushing ahead anyway. This is what happens when a proud Panjabi and a proud Irishman come together, two traditions historically built on the principals of resistance and rebellion. This was such a fun process—while creating, I remember talking about the emotions of these scales—in particular, the Eb La Sirena to me produces a feeling of natural wonder we held as kids. There is a certain energy that comes up with this scale—somber and yet righteous. Feeling everything, but observing more than reacting. Unbothered by modern societal pressures and expectations to sanitize who we really are. This is the true way of the Wizard.
