After living in my 480sqft apartment in Haidian district for the past year, I finally got around to filming an apartment tour, right when I was moving out. In this video, I take you on a tour of my small but cozy $865 apartment, where I have completed (also failed at) many construction projects to build storage solutions, add decor, and give this tiny space the warmth of home. This apartment has seen me through the first chapter of my life in Beijing, when I was confused, alone, and couldn’t wait to get out of here. Also in this apartment, I found what I love to do, fell in love, and decided to call Beijing my home. This is the first part of a mini series of vlogs where I document how I quit my job, moved to a new apartment, and started a new job all in a couple of weeks.
