Our family went furniture free! Living room overhaul 🌜

Our family of 7 transitioned to a furniture free living room. Instead of begging children to stop jumping off the furniture, avoiding painting on couches 😳😅, and everything else that comes with a wild crew- we decided to take the leap and swap out our couches and chairs for cushions, pillows and a hammock swing! The benefits of free movement and getting our bodies moving have in weeks already been clear. While the change to our minds and spirit was immediate. Our home now represents us, our style and our dream space. No more “you can’t hang two pictures side by side” or “you can’t have magical childlike paintings on the wall” that we convince ourselves as adults. If we want a home that reminds us of our adventures through the enchanted forests and cozy hygge nights by the candlelight... then that’s exactly what we shall create!
