This waltz is from Richard Robinson's Tunebook, where it is simply called "Waltz", with the only additional information that it comes from Norway: http://richardrobinson.tunebook.org.u... Evelyn Tiffany-Castiglioni has expanded the melody line from that source into a quartet arrangement with a high and low harmony part and chords, which I have used for my recording. Robinson's annotation is "The d's are slightly sharpish in the first part (as are some of the c's). It goes pretty fast and bouncy, rather than slow and romantic". To which Evelyn has added "Though I rather like it slow and romantic". For my recording, I have played the tune three times: the first two times "fast and bouncy" and the final time "slow and romantic". Mid-Missouri M-0W mandolin (x2) Suzuki MC-815 mandocello Troubadour Lionheart bouzouki (tuned GDAE)
