In this video I am testing Amfeltec Squid Carrier Board. It is a PCI-express x16 module which can fit 6 x M2 NVMe SSD. In Part 1 (this video) I am testing it with just 4 x 2TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSDs to make it more comparable to OWC Accelsior 4M2 8TB which is in a similar price range and is it’s closest competitor. #MacPro #Amfeltec #Accelsior In Summary: faster than OWC Accelsior by about 12-13% in like-for-like config (4 x 2TB SSDs) I expect (though will test in the near future) it is much faster (~ another 2-3GB/sec) in 6 x 2TB config (this is coming in PART 2) * This video is *not sponsored by anyone in any way.
