Thank you for watching!  If you've played the Pokemon Trading Card Game for Game Boy [Color], then you already know that its entire OST goes way harder than it needs to.  And although each track warrants acclaim, my personal favorite is the Grand Masters' duel theme.  It really conveys the intensity of those high-stakes battles, and I hope you'll find this rendition to be similarly fierce! 💥 As always, there's a lot I want to say here, but I'll try to keep things concise. This project was started back in February, and it came together rather slowly, but I am really proud of how everything turned out!  This was my second venture into dubstep territory, and it definitely won't be my last, as it's a genre that I really want to improve in, as well as being an absolute blast to produce.  The thing that really helped the arrangement click for me was trying to lean into the different Type specialization of each Grand Master through thematic sounds and effects.  Well, except for Rod's section.  I wasn't quite sure what to do there... And while I can't exactly describe what the Dragon typing sounds like, I can with utmost confidence recommend the music of my friend and fellow VGM enthusiast, Poke&Remix!  He's a real creative force in the community, constantly pushing his own boundaries and melding sound styles in new and exciting ways.  As his channel's name suggests, Poke&Remix specializes in covering tracks from a wide variety of Pokemon games, and his library not only grows, but evolves, with new iterations of past remixes being released regularly. His authentic passion for music can be seen in his intricate remixes and the compelling descriptions he writes for them.  If you haven't already, please be sure to check out his channel!
