What else can I say, but to God be the Glory! June 11, 2023 was a night to remember. I won my very first Bahamas Gospel Music Award for an original song, “Watch God Move”. This was also my very first Bahamian Gospel Music Award as an independent Bahamian Gospel Artist! From a young age, I knew that God had called me to something great. It was revealed that I had been called for global ministry, but couldn’t wrap my head around it - that God would call little ole me to be a voice to the world. That’s major bro! When I went off to school, I thought that was the start of my global mission 😂 but that was just my training ground. My mom always told me that at some point the gift will have to return home for a season. Home is where my ministry will begin. And boy she was right! It was in her work office in 2008 I started to write my very first song. And now in 2023 I have an award for one of them. So it was fitting that I dedicate my first BAHAMIAN GOSPEL MUSIC AWARD to her! Love you mommy ❤️ Upon my return, God strategically place special people in my life like Pastor Mario Moxey, Gandhi Pinder and Sherwin Gardner (just to make a few). They saw God’s hand at work in my life and have my best interest at heart. They care for my soul and I am extremely grateful to them for the role that they play in my development as an artist and as a Christian. Big shout out to my mentor, producer and friend Sherwin Gardner! He has blessed me tremendously and pushes me to the max ALWAYS and I am grateful for him.
