This day was a huge one because it is the start of runs in this system and LIRR/Metro-North which will carry us through the (A) Train Shutdown between Howard Beach-JFK Airport and Far Rockaway-Mott Av. But these runs were special because this roundtrip and the 7k Series roundtrip on the ⚪️Silver Line⚪️ were taken during MagFest weekend. In this roundtrip and the ⚪️Silver Line⚪️ roundtrip taken on this day, expect me to share reviews on my first gaming/music convention weekend ever. I was at PAX East 2024, but it was only for one day in a Landmark trip. This was a trip that Mr. Toad and I wanted to do for the longest time and we were able to get a nice hotel near the convention via a lottery. Going into the day, he and I would meet up in the morning to catch our train to DC on AMTRAK and we checked into our hotel. Mr. Toad would observe National Harbor and the timing to this was perfect. This was a fantastic way to start the 2025 Washington Metro runs and the memorable weekend. So yeah, I hope you guys enjoy this ride as we take our first trip this year through Maryland, District of Columbia and Virginia.
