Happy Women's History Month everyone! Over a year ago I was watching the MLP episode Non-Compete Clause for scenes and I came to 2 realizations. 1: The episode still sucks! 2: Rainbow and Applejack's bickering totally reminded me of this song. So I made about a third of it, and, like all AMVs I make, got distracted, put it on the back burner, and moved on to another video. I don't know why I want to torture myself, but for some reason, I constantly choose to make the most difficult clip-contained PMVs. This song is an absolute BEAST! This was somehow simultaneously, one of the most fun and one of the most frustrating PMVs I've ever made! Applejack is one of those characters that I seem to never get to work with. The last time she got a role was Where's Wanda...I'm not kidding. So she's long overdue for a song. Some of the scenarios were also super difficult. Like, getting the character (that has next to no long notes) to sing for such a long period, or having both of them "talk fast". Despite the hiccups though, it was all worth it in the end because these two fit together in these roles like bread and butter. Hopefully, this proves that this channel isn't dead and isn't going to be an annual thing either. Also, let's respect the amazing powerhouse female figure that Annie Oakley was!
