Zakuzaku Actors is an excellent freeware RPG that I played once a while back and wanted to revisit this year, so I proposed a draft to a few acquaintances: pick 12 of the 36 characters each with free use of the protagonists, deuteragonists, and super late joiners, and that's your team for the whole game. (Free units are Delichi and Rosemary, as well as Hell and Mia Rerju after Part 2 when they become the protagonists. My drafted characters are Gina, Yae, Yukino, Fuku, Zenyatta, Julia, Dorintl, Kuweuri, Priscilla, Rufure, Mao and Reptos.) Its actual mechanics are intuitive, so I'll generally let them speak for themselves. Despite the plot being at its high point, the Dimensional Tower opens one final stratum for you to fix problems in god-Japan with their fancy new asset pack. Tsuchigumo Tactician is basically a suped-up normal encounter. Beating the weak spiders is half the threat gone, using Stamina Wraith to deal with the enemy's agility-based damage gimmick is the other half.
