During 2014 Annual Southwest Trauma and Acute Care Symposium, Dr. Forrest ‘Dell’ Moore, MD presented his lecture on Ventilating the Unventilatable Trauma Patient - Strategies for Survival. He presents a recent case of a 40 year old man falling 35 feet while trimming a palm tree. This patient presented severe traumatic brain injury, extensive chest trauma, and multiple pelvic and long bone fractures. Dr. Moore discusses initial trauma management and other interventions required to performed overtime. Dr. Forrest 'Dell' Moore, MD, is a clinical associate professor of surgery at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix. He is also the Medical Director and Section Chief of Trauma, Associate Program Director of the William Beaumont Army Medical Center General Surgery Residency, at the Level 1 Trauma Center at Dignity Health/Chandler Regional Medical Center in Arizona.
