Take a ride on the Wild River water slide at Bosbad Putten in The Netherlands! What makes this current water slide so unique is that you can pick from a total of four different routes: Once guests arrive at the second whirlpool, they can either decide to simply continue their ride or skip the following set of rapids by riding a wide family slide instead. Both routes will eventually lead into the third and last whirlpool where riders can decide between two routes again. On the left side, they rush through a tunnel before being thrown into the runout pool in the indoor area. The right route is a classic water slide with natural light effects which ends in the outdoor area of the park. Except for the latter, all routes are open year-round as the water is heated. In front of the walkway towards the attraction, a traffic light has been placed to make sure the slide is not getting overcrowded. The light will turn green every few seconds.
