This is Episode 01: 🍚 ചൂട് കുത്തരിച്ചോറ് (Hot Matta Rice) 🍲 പരിപ്പും തക്കാളിയും കറി (Parippu & Tomato Curry) 🌱 അമരപ്പയർ മെഴുക്കുപുരട്ടി (Broad Beans Stir-fry) 🍳 ബുൾസ് ഐ (Bulls Eye Egg Fry) 🌶️ മുളക് പപ്പടം വറുത്തത് (Chilly Pappadam) Ingredients 🍲 Parippu & Tomato Curry (Lentil & Tomato Curry) 1 cup Masoor Dal (split pigeon peas) 3 medium tomatoes, chopped 3 Green chilly (adjust to taste) 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon chilli powder (adjust to taste) 1 tablespoon coconut oil 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds 10 small onion or 2-3 shallots, crushed 2-3 sprigs curry leaves 1 teaspoon Red chilly flakes 1/2 inch piece ginger, crushed Salt to taste Water as needed 🌱 Broad Beans Stir-fry (Amarapayar Mezhukkupuratti) 1 Onion, sliced 3 green chillies, slit (adjust to taste) 1 small piece of ginger 250g broad beans (amarapayar), trimmed and chopped 1/2 cup grated coconut (optional) 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes (adjust to taste) 1-2 sprigs curry leaves 1 tablespoon coconut oil Salt to taste Watch till the end to see the pure joy of enjoying a perfect "nadan oonu" with family! 💬 What is your favorite comfort food that your Amma makes?
