EPIC RANT- Psycho (1998 Shot-For-Shot Remake) Movie Review (Definition of POINTLESS!)

In 1998, for a number of reasons, director Gus Van Zant decided to not only do a remake of the 1960 masterpiece, 'Psycho', but did it, literally, SHOT FOR SHOT, SCENE FOR SCENE, EVERYTHING FOR EVERYTHING!!!! So much so, that in recent years there have been side by side comparison videos on YouTube. It was completely panned by critics and audiences, while some of the cast, including Julianne Moore, Viggo Mortensen and William H. Macy, we're commended, the casting of Anne Hesch and, especially, Vince Vaugn as Norman Bates was universally despised, with the latter being considered among the worst casting choices in history. It's the same damn story.....
