In this video I'm going to try and bring my control arm angles back to stock with drop brackets. Steep control arm angles will cause some of the road shock to be absorbed by the vehicle body which is why you feel harsher bumps in a lifted XJ. By lowering the angles back to stock, the suspension will absorb the road shock again and you'll have a much more comfortable ride. I decided to go with Rough Country since their brackets were simple and cheap. Rubicon Express also makes a kit for more money. This RC kit is mostly bolt on and only requires a few holes to be drilled for the back braces to attach to the unibody. Overall, it took longer to get the old stuff out then it took installing the new brackets. Driving over rough terrain is more pleasant now that the suspension is absorbing the road shock like it should. I would highly recommend this if you are interested in smoothing out your lifted ride.
