Female entrepreneurs share how an ILO training supported their businesses

In this video, we commemorate the stories of five out of 100s of GET Ahead winners in Egypt's Damietta governorate. GET Ahead is an International Labour Organization training that aims to enhance beneficiaries' entrepreneurial skills by providing them with relevant gender-responsive business tools. With rounds implemented in Egypt's Damietta governorate over years, participants are asked to develop and compete with their unique business ideas. As part of our commitment to sustainability, five winners are chosen. This video has been made within the context of ILO Cairo's Decent Jobs for Egypt’s Young People (DJEP): Together to Develop the Youth in Damietta project, funded by Methanex Egypt. It aligns with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
