Donmar Warehouse - Theatre wayfinding scheme
Located in and amongst the historic Seven Dials ‘village’ at the heart of Covent Garden, London’s Donmar Warehouse is a one-of-a-kind theatre. It has a global reputation for delivering outstanding productions and groundbreaking theatre, in what is a very intimate space. Transformed into ‘The Warehouse’ theatre by the Royal Shakespeare Company in the late 1970s, it was rebuilt by Roger Wingate in 1990. Michael Longhurst became Artistic Director in 2019, and plans for renovations got underway and adapted due to the global pandemic. This gave the Donmar Warehouse an unexpected opportunity to forge ahead with renovations, recently reopening in time for the winter season.
