Today we're dealing with EVAP (evaporative emissions) system. Code P0443 deals with two components. The EVAP Canister Purge Control Valve (this video) and the Purge Control SOLENOID valve - found here -    • How to Test and Replace EVAP Canister Purg...   The EVAP Canister Purge Control Valve works with the Canister Purge SOLENOID valve. (I know, a bit confusing.) When vacuum signal is cut by the Solenoid Valve, the control valve shuts off the EVAP purge line. The control valve in this vehicle has three vacuum hookups. The thin hose on top is vacuum coming from the solenoid valve. The larger diameter hose directly below is vacuum coming from the EVAP canister. The opposite large diameter hose is vacuum going to the EVAP canister purge volume control valve.
