Despite a period of decline following the catastrophic eruption of Thera, Knossos remains a major power with the potential to regain control of the Aegean Sea and reestablish its dominance over the region. This mod makes Knossos a playable faction and introduces 12 custom units, including 8 unique to Knossos and 4 native units in the Achaean realm. Featured Faction Units: Kretan Militia (Tier II): Club & Shield infantry, perfect for early-game engagements. Kretai Young Swordsmen (Tier II): Agile sword-wielders, ideal for skirmishing. Minoan Marines (Tier III): Versatile sword & shield units with javelins, recruitable from any port settlement. Minoan Pikemen (Tier IV): Stalwart spear & shield infantry, great for holding the line. Minoan Archers (Tier III): Bow & Shield units, providing ranged support with excellent defense. Minoan Palatial Chariots (Tier III): Bow chariots that can dismount into Spear runners (2h spear) for flexibility in battle.
