(Please see note at the end of this description) This is a demo of the Vupoint Portable Scanner PDS-ST-470R-VP also known as Magic Wand IV in their series of portable scanners. We will start with looking at what is contained in the box, and follow it up with a scanning demo and show you the results. In summary, I am quite happy with the ease of use and the quality of scans from this portable scanner, which comes with the advantage that there are no batteries to replace from time to time. Note on 20-Nov-2020: This product may have lost its relevance in the present times. It was a good and useful product in 2014. However, smart phones with very good scanning apps have made life easy. A decent smart phone provides most of the essential scanning needs including pdf output.
