Noori Top stands tall at an elevation of approximately 12,500 feet (3,810 meters), offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. From this lofty height, I descend to Jalkhad, located at around 10,300 feet (3,140 meters), covering a distance of 18.1 kilometers. The ride is not for the faint-hearted, as the road from Noori Top is one of Pakistan’s most challenging, with sharp turns, rugged terrain, and steep drops. Yet, the stunning vistas make every moment worth it. On the way, I visit the enchanting Pyala Lake, a bowl-shaped lake nestled amidst the hills. Its serene, turquoise waters are a perfect contrast to the rugged journey, making it a must-see spot for nature lovers and adventurers alike.
