Open Your Heart - Madonna Cover

Krissy Kulick Spadafora, Rich Imbrogno and Marco Spadafora collaborate to produce a cover video of Madonna's Open Your Heart. Covid 19 era has given us musicians an opportunity to create stuff that we normally would not get a chance to do. For me, Marco Spadafora, I have had the opportunity to get back to my roots of audio studio recording, something I have not done with this much detail since the mid 90's. And now I am adding video editing to my arsenal. In this production, I used Logic Pro 9 on a 2011 imac (yes it still works and now upgraded to 16G ram and SSD Hard drive, works better than ever) I used Davinci Resolve 16 as the video editing software on a killer windows PC that I recently built specifically for video editing. Krissy, Rich and I have worked together on and off in the past 10 years. But way back in the late 80's, early 90's when we first met, we played in a local wedding band called Sensation (who btw, are still around and kicking ass). Sensation incorporated a lot of the pop dance music that was happening back then into their repertoire, adjusting and adding songs to stay recent. When we look back, we played some of the hippest dance pop stuff. This video collaboration is a result of us loving the dance pop stuff we did back then. Madonna's 'Open Your Heart' is one of our fav's. For me it's hands down my favourite Madonna song. Spending the endless hours putting this video together was worth it and I enjoyed every minute of it. Who knows, we may even do another.... Enjoy!!
