Add Ingredients: Warming up the water before adding the ingredients is optional 🔥. Add 1 tbsp of Karo syrup🍯, 1/32 tsp light malt extract (optional) 🌾, and 1/64 tsp Peptone Bacteriological (optional) 🔬. 3. Mix the Ingredients: Stir or gently swirl the water and corn syrup until well-mixed 🔄. This will create a nutrient-rich broth for mycelium growth 🍄. 4. Attach the Lid: Place your custom liquid culture lid onto the jar 🫙. Tighten the lid fully, then loosen it about a quarter turn ↩️. This allows pressure equalization during sterilization without fully sealing it. 5. Cover with Aluminum Foil: Wrap the lid and top of the jar with aluminum foil. This will protect the filter patch from moisture during sterilization. 6. Sterilize in Pressure Cooker: Place the jar in the pressure cooker.
