The 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix was the setting for the highly anticipated return of Formula 1. What we got was the first-ever season opener without a DNF, despite Logan Sargeant coming close to retiring with a brake bias issue. Max Verstappen took pole amidst doubts over Red Bull's performance and went on to lead from lights to flag and record a hat trick on the weekend. Sergio Perez once again struggled in qualifying but came through the field to complete a Red Bull Racing 1-2. Carlos Sainz drove an incredible race to begin his last season with Ferrari, completing the podium in third. Charles Leclerc overcame brake issues to beat George Russell to 4th place.
