A Major Incident Reported from Azamgarh: Woman Stages Road Block with Husband’s Body, Accuses Doctor of Medical Negligence A major incident has surfaced from Azamgarh, where a woman placed her husband's dead body in front of a hospital and staged a road blockade, alleging serious medical negligence by the attending doctor. The case is from Kanjra Dilsadpur village under the jurisdiction of Jiyanpur Police Station. The woman, Bindu Devi, has directly accused Dr. Amit Singh of Rama Hospital, Narouli, of medical negligence that allegedly led to her husband’s death. According to the family, the deceased, Bhuwal Chauhan, was suffering from gallbladder stones. He was admitted to Rama Hospital on June 16 for treatment. Dr. Amit Singh described the procedure as a routine surgery and operated on the same day. However, Chauhan’s condition reportedly began to deteriorate soon after the operation. Shockingly, despite the worsening condition, the doctor discharged the patient on June 20 and advised the family to take him home. As his health continued to decline, the family took him to Varanasi, where he passed away on the morning of June 28. In protest, the grieving family placed the body in front of Rama Hospital and blocked the road, demanding justice. On receiving information, police from Siddhari Police Station reached the scene and managed to disperse the crowd peacefully. Bindu Devi has lodged a formal complaint at Siddhari Police Station, demanding strict legal action against Dr. Amit Singh for alleged negligence. The matter now lies with the administration, and it remains to be seen whether any action will be taken against the doctor in response to these serious allegations.
