Smoking a Marlboro Gold “Selección Artesanal” Cigarette - Review

Review and Smoking a Marlboro Gold “Selección Artesanal” Cigarette from Mexico, which contain 7mg of tar, 0.6mg of nicotine, and 8mg of carbon monoxide, making them more of a light than not. Marlboro is an American brand of cigarettes that was first introduced by Phillip Morris in the mid 1920’s, however, it was a very different brand than what we know today. After a couple different market repositionings, in the 1950’s, it was reintroduced, and absolutely exploded in popularity, and so, to nobody's surprise, this is the brand we still know today. In the mid 1970's, it became the best selling brand in the United States, and has kept that spot ever since Within Mexico, the nameplate is produced by Philip Morris International, and is also extremely popular there as well, being the most sold cigarette brand within the country, from what I can tell at least. I'm not sure when this specific variety was introduced onto the Mexican Market, however, I do know that they have been around for some time now, for at least the last couple years, and they are meant to be a somewhat cheaper, slightly lower quality, alternative to the normal, full priced, Golds / Lights.
