In this restoration video, I restore a rusty, old, antique axe and bring it back to a fully functional state! 🛠️ 🔥 What to Expect? ✔️ Rust Removal & Electrolysis – I remove rust using rust remover spray, a hammer, and an electrolysis method. ✔️ Blade Repair – Since the old cutting edge is damaged, I cut it off and weld a new piece of steel in place. ✔️ Grinding & Hardening – I refine the shape using a belt grinder and harden the axe in a heat treatment process. ✔️ New Wooden Handle – I craft a brand-new walnut-wood handle, fit it perfectly, and secure it with a wooden wedge. ✔️ Finishing Touches with Linseed Oil – The handle is treated with linseed oil for protection and a beautiful finish.
