Look on phone 📱 🇬🇧 As you know, at the end of January 2021, in Catalonia, France and elsewhere... the Giants have not really ben allowed out, after already a year stored in their premises or crates or trailers... they are moping around a bit... And it's very sad, a Giant who cannot dance! Then the idea came to us, here in the Pyrenées village of Villefranche-de-Conflent, to find a way to link up with our other Géant friends, to reach out and find a new way to share our mutual enthusiasm. To try and recreate the atmosphere of the meetings and festivals we would usually attend. We thought ‘if we cannot all meet in person, let’s do it with the help of the internet! The health crisis may have stopped our physical meetings, but it has not dampened our insatiable enthusiasm for having contact with you all one way or another, so we invited all you Géants to join with us and meet using our Relais Virtuel! Our heartfelt thanks go out to all those who joined in with us from as near and as far away as Catalonia, France, Belgium, the UK, Navarre and even as far away as Mali! Your enthusiasm and participation have touched us all deeply. Thank you to the geganters of the colla gegantera of Vilafranca de Conflent for having once again, acquiesced to my sometimes crazy ideas... FLAMAND : Eind januari 2021, in Catalonië, Frankrijk en elders... hebben de reuzen niet meer echt het recht om naar buiten te gaan, na al een jaar in hun lokalen of dozen of aanhangwagens te hebben gestaan... ze vervelen zich een beetje. .. En het is heel triest, een reus die niet kan dansen! Het idee kwam toen bij ons in Villefranche-de-Conflent in de Pyreneeën, om een beetje deze link te herstellen, deze zo dierbare momenten van delen, die onze reuzenstoeten, onze feesten ons gewoonlijk toestaan... En als het fysiek niet mogelijk is, laten we het doen via internet! Dus als de gezondheidscrisis onze concrete uitwisselingen heeft gestopt, heeft het onze energie en ons onverzadigbare verlangen naar ontmoetingen en uitwisselingen niet opgedroogd en het is op een andere manier dan de gebruikelijke dat we de kleine wereld van de reuzen hebben uitgenodigd om zich bij ons aan te sluiten , via ons voorstel voor virtueel relais... Hartelijk dank aan iedereen die het spel heeft gespeeld, uit Catalonië, Frankrijk, België, Engeland, Navarra en zelfs uit Mali! Uw positieve reacties en uw investering hebben ons diep geraakt. Bedankt aan de reuzendragers van Vilafranca de Conflent voor het opnieuw instemmen met mijn soms excentrieke ideeën... Bedankt aan iedereen die niet kon deelnemen maar de informatie, de video's, heeft doorgegeven. Ik wens jullie allemaal een goed herstel en prachtige momenten dankzij jullie respectieve reuzen, gelukkig nieuwjaar 2022! ESPAGNOL : A finales de enero de 2021, en Cataluña, Francia y otros lugares... los Gigantes ya no tienen realmente derecho a salir, después de un año guardados en sus locales, cajas o remolques... están un poco deprimidos... Ya que es muy triste, que un Gigante no pueda bailar! Entonces, en Villefranche de Conflent en los Pirineos, se nos ocurrió la idea de recrear este vínculo, estos momentos tan queridos de compartir, que suelen permitirnos los encuentros con otras "collas geganteras", nuestras fiestas, la música... Y ya que no eran posibles los encuentros físicamente, decidimos hacerlo usando internet! En este sentido, si la crisis sanitaria ha frenado nuestros intercambios, no ha disminuido nuestra energía y nuestras ganas insaciables de encuentros e intercambios y es por otra vía que invitamos al pequeño mundo de los Gigantes a unirse a nosotros a través de nuestra propuesta de Relevo Virtual… ¡Muchas gracias a todos los que participaron en el encuentro, desde Cataluña, Francia, Bélgica, Inglaterra, Navarra e incluso Malí! Sus respuestas positivas y su inversión nos han conmovido profundamente. Gracias a los gigantes de la Colla Gegantera de Vilafranca de Conflent por haber accedido una vez más a mis ideas a veces excéntricas… Gracias a todos aquellos que no pudieron participar pero transmitieron la información, los videos.
