Well a bit of a sad morning for us at the flying field!! I was so proud of the detailing work I had done to the S.E.5a, I couldn't wait to fly it!! Didn't do my normal intro's as I was so keen to get the plane in the air, maiden flight went well and the little Bi-plane looked stunning!! Second flight filming using my phone for YouTube shorts and I stuffed the thing into the ground.Damage doesn't look that bad on video but in reality, all wing struts and cabain struts are gone, aeleron linkages are shot,motor shaft and mount are bent and the list goes on, at this moment in time, iv'e got to decide wether to repair or strip for parts and count my losses, as we all know these spares can be pretty expensive.
