Titled “Integration with Compliance”, session 2 addressed the issue of integrating with the different systems while complying with the various integration rules. Rules, regulations, compliance, standards and policies are meant to protect us and our data. However, these can pose various roadblocks. Systems today are no longer stand-alone projects. They have to integrate with each other for data or authentication such as SingPass or CorpPass. And the more complex the systems are, the more system-to-system integrations are required. However, different systems, especially the older ones, may use different formats. How then do we transform different protocols and formats for the systems to talk to each other?
