The Galveston Naval Museum is at Seawolf Park on Pelican Island. The museum features two World War II era vessels - the USS Stewart and the USS Cavalla. The Stewart is one of only two remaining remaining Destroyer Escorts. It was built in 1942 by Brown Shipping Company in Houston. The Museum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the last admission at 5 p.m. Tickets are $13 for adults, $10 for seniors (65 and up), and $8 (children 5-11).
