I had a long think about what my top tips are, and here they are - my six top hints, tips and tricks for sketching and drawing loose, ideal for improving your urban sketching and more. Sketching is the art of producing quick and expressive drawings or paintings representing the chief features of an object or scene. Loose sketching takes this a step further - we use our sketching skills in a looser and more relaxed way. This gives sketches a spontaneous, easy going and energetic or characterful feel. How can I sketch more loose? How to I loosen up my pen work? And do you have any tips to make my art more relaxed?
