As already mentioned at the end of the review of the recently released Chronicles Of Resistance package, Steamhammer / SPV released both 80s studio albums of the Düsseldorf Thrash legend Assassin at the same time again separately on noble double gatefold vinyl about a month and a half ago. For ignorant readers: "Chronicles Of Resistance" bundled includes the 1987 released and long time as an original sound carrier extremely difficult debut "The Upcoming Terror" and the 1988 successor Interstellar Experience in noble Digipak. Certainly not much has to be said about the music itself: The debut album recorded at the end of 1986 together with Kalle Trapp at the Karo Music Studio in Münster offers eight unique street thrillers of the Teutonic Thrash, who have long since gained classic status among the scene-goers. It does not matter if the troop slogan "Assassin", the neck-breaker "Fight (To Stop The Tyranny)" or other riot attacks are mentioned here: They are all unique and perfectly set the uncouth Thrash-Spirit of the Ruhrpot in the middle of the 80s!
