👉*Three Communities in Uromi, Edo State Receive 50,000-Litre Capacity Water Projects Facilitated by Prince Clem Agba* In commemoration of World Water Day 2024 in Edo State, the Benin-Owena River Basin Development Authority (BORBDA) inaugurated 50,000-litre capacity water projects on March 22, 2024. These projects, facilitated by Prince Clem Agba while in the saddle as minister of state for budget and national planning, were inaugurated in Idumague, Uwalor, and Ubierumu, situated in Uromi in Edo Central Senatorial Zone. During the ceremony, Ahmed Saliu, the Managing Director of BORBDA, emphasized that two of the water reticulation projects were solar-powered, while one relied on a generator for operation. Furthermore, efforts were made to extend all three water fetching points, reducing the distance residents needed to travel. Local residents also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Federal Government and Prince Clem Agba for his intervention in addressing the persistent issue of water scarcity in their communities.
