Easter Sunday - Easter With the Masters Mini Concert Series

Join us Sunday evening at 7 PM EET for the final video in our Mini Concert Series: Easter with the Masters! This unique festival with a teen choir singing the great choral works of the Easter season is unique to Music Camp International. It was established in 2009 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, at the insistence of Music Camp graduates who wanted to continue their involvement and sing more challenging music. What you hear is a choir of young people from Romania, all participating - not because it was required - but because it was desired! Prior to the COVID pandemic, it was our custom to gather for one week during the Easter holiday to learn the music and present a concert. Since we were not able to gather again this year, we have put this mini series together from past performances - beginning with Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter. The magnificent art that is woven throughout the pieces represent some of the greatest passion masterpieces of many centuries from all over the world.
