Wide of demonstrators, seen over the shoulder of policemen 10. Close of placard saying "Racist Australians go back" 11. Pan over demonstrators STORYLINE: Activists from a small Hindu nationalist group ' Rashtrawadi Sena ' protested in New Delhi on Friday against the recent attacks on Indian students in Australia and demanded the immediate cancellation of the ongoing cricket tournament between India and Australia. Holding placards and chanting slogans asking the Australian team to go back, the protesters said that the demonstration was a symbolic gesture, but warned that action could be taken if their demands were not met. "As long as Australia does not guarantee the safety of our people inside the country, as long as the atrocities and violence against our people there does not stop, till then there should not be any cricket match or any other sporting event with Australia ," said Jai Bhagwan Goyal, the National Chief of the Rashtrawadi Sena. The Indian government has conveyed its concern to Australia over recurring attacks on Indians there and asked the Australian government to take steps to improve the safety and security of Indian citizens. Australian police argue that while some of the attacks may be racially motivated, it is more likely linked to a broader rise in street violence. Goyal and his supporters had previously attempted to disrupt a cricket match between Pakistan and India by digging up the pitch at the Feroze Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi in 1999. Australia are scheduled to play the third match of their ongoing tour in Delhi on Saturday.
