New Apartment at Richard Sorge St. in Ufa. "Real Russia" ep.121

In the first video of 2016 (Vlog 1), I announced that at this year will try to travel more around Russia and show more of the country. There was a plan to start it from a short 3-4 days visit to Moscow, the capital of Russia. Literally, was “sitting on my suitcase” waiting for a good weather to fly to the heart of Russia. In the same time, already for a half of year I was trying to sell my apartment in the historical city center at Karl Marx Street, Ufa, Russia. So, last week I’ve got a call from a married couple with two kids. They loved and apartment and agreed to buy it. Once a part of their payment went through the mortgage, we spent a lot of time grabbing a lot of different documents and statements. But it was done. I have sold an apartment which was the main place of living for me and my family. So once I’ve got a money for it, I hurried up to buy another apartment which will be in the city center of Ufa, Russia as well. Equal by value residential district. Another reason was my mistrust to the money, no matter if it’s cash (paper) or numbers in your checking account. So I prefer a real estate as something physical. When you have an estate in the center of a big city, it’s more reliable, because even in case of crisis, your real estate will always adapt to the current economical situation and prices. I have found a great offer – 3-room apartment in a new residential district in the city center of Ufa, Russia at Richard Sorge street. This is a 3-room apartment with a total area of 94 square meters. Let me remind you that my previous apartment had only 2 rooms and a total area of 60 square meters. So, this apartment is 34 square meters more than previous one. BUT I never paid any extra money in order to increase my living area. How was that possible? The trick is that I have sold an apartment in a completed residential building located in a completed infrastructure around it, also with an official registration in a Federal Registry of Russia. But the new apartment is in a not fully completed residential building yet. It is finished from the outside, but not yet inside. For this reason, the entrance to the building limited from 8am to 8pm, there not a stable electricity and water. But they let you move your stuff there and start making a maintenance. For this reason the price for an apartments at this stage is way lower than they will be after it’s ready and approved by the State Commission. This is the only reason how I’ve got a huge discount and got additional 34 square meters for the price I’ve got for 60 square meters. I moved all my stuff from the previous apartment and stored it in a living room of my new apartment. Now about to start make a maintenance… real Russian maintenance. I am not rich, so my maintenance is not going to be luxury, I am not going to hire a designer or so. My maintenance will be just an average quality maintenance most of Russians do in their new apartments. This is going to be a series of episodes about the Real Russian maintenance. I will film it step-by-step depending on how fast I will make it. Will try to show you how it’s going, how it was, what was done, how much money we’ve paid for a stuff (material) and how much for a work of the workers.
