I'm cutting back an old boxwood hedge and unearthing the old patio underneath layers of dirt and leaf mold. Its a mess as I work to pull out all the overgrown ivy and overgrown bushes. There is over 6 inches of dirt/compost that has piled up over the years and I'm getting after it with the tools I have on hand here at the Orchard Heights House project. My goal with this farm and house is to do what I can with what I have on hand and to buy in very little, putting this garden back to what it once was and how I remember it as a younger girl.
