Sky News host Liz Storer says prominent No campaigner Warren Mundine’s National Press Club address was “absolute gold”. “It’s an unpopular truth at the moment, right now, that if you are an Indigenous Australian in modern day Australia, you have every opportunity to succeed,” Ms Storer told Sky News host Sharri Markson. “You have every opportunity to thrive – there are government bodies, there are organisations, etc. “Everything that we’ve heard from the Yes campaign is insisting that there’s still a gap to be closed here because we haven’t done enough.” Ms Storer’s remarks come after Mr Mundine addressed the National Press Club of Australia on Tuesday, just under three weeks away from the Voice referendum as he provided alternatives.
