But one thing Tata Nexon has enriched with time to time is its Variants. Yes, Tata Nexon launched with XE, XM, XT and XZ and later on the variants changed with a little bit change in features and now some variant has been launched by Tata in Nexon and it has 8 Variants available - XE, XM, XMS, XM+S, XZ+, XZ+ S, XZ+ LUX, XZ+ LUX S and all varinats are having both Petrol & Diesel and with Manual & Automatic Transmission. The Truth is Nexon very initially got the amazing cool design with good seating posture which definitely helped this compact SUV attain a good number of sales in India. Nexon is less than a 4 meter SUV but still because of its strength and driving pleasure this competes with the SUVs which are above its segment. Variants & Colours Tata Nexon Variants available - XE, XM, XMS, XM+S, XZ+, XZ+ S, XZ+ LUX, XZ+ LUX S The Colours available in Tata Nexon are Foliage Green, Calgary White, Flame Red, Daytona Grey. But XE the base variant won't get a Flame Red whereas another colour which is Royale Blue is available only with XZ+. Other than that there are two Editions are also available with specific colours like Dark Edition has Black colour available with XZ+, XZ+ S, XZ+ Lux and XZ+ Lux S only and another Edition is Kaziranga which has Grassland Beige colour available only with the Top variant XZ+ Lux S only. Engine & Transmission Tata Nexon comes with both Diesel & Petrol engine options and both engines are now BS6 phase 2 ready. The Diesel Engine of Tata Nexon is a 4 cylinder  1497cc turbocharged revotorq Engine which gives maximum output of 115ps @4000rpm and torque of 260 nm @1500-2750rpm. The Petrol Engine of Tata Nexon is a 3 cylinder 1.2litres turbocharged engine which produces the power of 120ps @5500rpm and torque of 170 nm @1750-4000 rpm. Both  the engines has an option of 6speed manual transmission and 6 speed automatic transmission. Also, Both petrol and diesel Nexon comes with the three Drive modes - Eco, city and Sports.
