​The telescopic crawler crane of the LTR series combines the advantages of all-terrain cranes and crawler cranes. Thanks to the excellent manoeuvrability of the crawler chassis, LTR cranes can be used on any terrain without any problems. The crawler undercarriage eliminates the need for stabilisers, as is the case with all-terrain cranes. This is why an LTR 1220 from our customer Select was used on a jack-up vessel in Polperro, in the south of the UK. With its dimensions of 9.50 m x 7.60 m, the crane took up less space on the jack-up vessel than a comparable all-terrain crane.
