Have you ever found yourself asking, "Why me? Why am I going through this?" Welcome to today's Lenten Talk with Ven. Christian Onwuka. In this profound message, we tackle the difficult "Why's" of life—from unexpected tragedies to deep personal pain. Drawing from the book of Jeremiah, Ven. Onwuka takes us to the Potter's house to discover how God uses the circumstances of life to shape us. In this biblical metaphor, God is the Potter, we are the clay, and the challenging circumstances of life are the wheel. While sin and stubbornness can mar the clay, God is a Master at remolding and reshaping us into His own design. Unlike physical clay, however, God gave us free will. To be transformed into "vessels unto honor," we must willingly surrender our ways to His. Take time this Lenten season to reflect: Is there rebellion or stubbornness in your heart? Let us return to Jesus, repent, and allow the Potter to heal our land. 📖 Scripture References: Jeremiah 18:5-6 2 Timothy 2:21 (Becoming a vessel unto honor) ⏳ Timestamps 00:00 The "Why"s of Life: Why Me? 00:40 Jeremiah the Weeping Prophet & Israel's Rebellion 01:15 Welcome & Topic: In the Potter's Hand (Jeremiah 18:5-6) 01:50 The Meaning of the Potter, the Clay, and the Wheel 02:30 What Mars the Clay?
