Last summer, KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES was released in theaters, was met with high praise from many fans and critics alike, and went on to become a modest box office hit. It wasn’t long before a sequel was confirmed to be in development for a potential 2027 release…however, that was nearly a year ago, and we have since gotten very little updates on the status of the next movie in the APES franchise. Should this be a cause for concern? Or is this just par for the course and we all just need to keep being patient? I’m here to give my thoughts!
