Is a clearance-rack greenhouse actually worth the effort? In this episode of Resourceful Homestead, I’m tackling the assembly of the Ground Work Dual Sided Greenhouse that I scored at Tractor Supply. While the instructions were a breeze and I managed the build solo in under an hour, it wasn't a "perfect" out-of-the-box experience. From shelf-fit frustrations to the "extra" hardware you’ll definitely want to have on hand, I’m giving you my 100% honest take. I'll show you exactly where I’m placing it to hide from those rough West Tennessee winds and the simple DIY tweaks I’m using to make sure it doesn't end up in the next county! In this video: My assembly (Solo-friendly!) *The 2 things missing from the kit you’ll need to buy. *Strategic placement for wind protection on a 1.5-acre homestead. What you’ll need to finish this build right: •Zip Ties: (Small/Medium) for the shelf-to-frame connection. •Extra Stakes: 8 small tent-style stakes for the bottom frame. •A Helpful 'Hubby' (or a heavy mallet): For those outer guideline stakes! BTW, I am in zone 7b.
