I can't say that Cairo is my favorite environment, but it is simplistic. There are positives in a track simply being simple; no fancy tricks or anything. You just race and zone out. Not my thing, but I know people love this track. That being said? Redout 2 has an event called "Speed" which gives you score per second based on how fast you're going, up to a maximum of about 35 points per second at 2500+ kmh. While Redout 2 does have leaderboards built-in for Time Trials, the same does not exist for Boss tracks or for Speed events. So, I maintain a "speederboard" in its stead that tracks score, ships, and loadouts for all speed events. If you want to participate, you should join the official Redout 2 community discord server!
