Hello you beautiful souls! You might have seen me experiment a little with gouache paints on my TikTok Account before so let's talk about those paints that are a little bit like the love child of watercolors and acrylics. I'm already saying it in the video but I want to say it again - if you are just starting out with gouache it is totally enough to start with cheaper paints. Especially if you don't know if you will like the medium in general. As a young artist starting out I always saw (professional) artist use those great and expensive paints and I thought to myself "if only I could afford those, I'd be better" - wrong! Just get started with what you have or can afford and enjoy it.
