They're Getting Modded: Dover T4 High-Speed Elevators at Treasure Island in Las Vegas, NV.

Filmed on June 7, 2018: This has been a TOTAL OF THREE casino hotels on the Las Vegas Strip with their elevators I have seen so far on my trip that are in the process of getting modernized!!!!! Sadly, you would have to show your room key to a security member in order to get on the elevators, but I spoke to 2 security guys standing in the corner of both elevator lobby entrance ways about my hobby and if I could get a quick video of the original 1993 Dover Traflomatic IV elevators before they are all gone, and they both let me! :D During the time I recorded this, at least 1-2 security personnel members were on their break time, so I am SO GLAD I got a FULL BETTER HD TAKE on these BEAUTIFUL, FAST Dover Traflomatic IV elevators!!!!!!!! :D :D :D These are definitely one of MY MOST ABSOLUTE FAVORITE elevators in Vegas!!!!! The cabs have been redone since I last filmed here back in 2012, but I LOVE the big square buttons!!!! :D I do not see any point of why they are modernizing these as they run just fantastic and are in perfect shape. Esp. being only 25 years old. As I rode the modded elevator (Otis Gen2Mod system) during the middle of this video, it traveled pretty slow that you do not even feel the pressure other than the old ones (Dover Traflomatic IV). The old and original elevators traveled WAY FASTER than the modded ones. See? That basically PROVES you how newer elevators today run and why I hate mods! Old high-rising elevators from the 1920's all the way to now were super fast like an amusement park ride and had real characters in them (original fixtures, motors, and other relay-logic equipments), and THAT exceeds my strong, valid definition is what REAL elevators are unlike the modern today ones. With that said, enjoy a final ride on these beautiful Dover T4 elevators before they are going bye-bye. Installed in 1993, to be modernized in 2018-2019 and so on.
